Public School Sucks!! Yes I said it!

I have met some opposition with my point of view of public schools. Quite frankly Public Schools are lacking. Through personal experience, with myself and my children, I have come to this opinion. Understandably most parents don't have an option. In this case, I pray for the well being of your children. Most of the current generation is raising their kids with little or no respect for authority, or themselves.
No longer able to afford to give my children a Catholic education, I have taken matters into my own hands. I am not a degreed teacher, but I am a teacher.
I am the first teacher that my children have ever had, I know their learning styles.
The biggest issue that we are having now is "How to undo the damage inflicted by the public school system"?
My children were teased, threatened, humiliated, neglected and physically assaulted. I refuse to allow them to endure this behavior any longer.
The straw that broke the camels back- my youngest son was knocked down in the school yard by 3 other kids and assaulted. The school informed me that because they didn't see this it never happened, Bulls**t!!!! My son had nightmares for almost a month and begged me every day to take them out of this school. My oldest son so feared for his life that on his last day of school he brought a pocket knife. I didn't find this out until after I took them out.
I didn't raise my children to be bullies. But I also didn't raise them to be peeons either. The whole situation was unacceptable.
Grades, What a joke!! My youngest could not read, and they passed him to 2nd grade anyway. I was very enraged. Yes, I asked the teacher not to pass him if his last grades were lower than C's, He had F's..
My oldest, went from A's and B's in Catholic school to FFFFFFF's across the board. Why? He is very intelligent and on a higher reading level than average. This really pissed me off. He also became quiet, edgy, angry and afraid.

How can the public accept this? As tax payers we pay these people to teach our children, not to raise them.
Why not create higher standards, for teachers, parents, and students? Lower classroom size? Use better educated teachers? Don't grade on a curve!!!! This only hurts the youth, who grow up to be adults who cannot read..... Oh this really pisses me off. Create programs that help those who can't read or can't be around others in a school environment.

(Where is GOD in public school???? He is banned! This is only the beginning!)
God is a huge part of my Private School. I couldn't do it without His guidance.
May God help all of us, He knows we need Him, but canWE see that we need Him?
